I've gotten numerous requests for the slides for the talk me and Vassily gave at GDC 2009. Here they are for interested parties.

Amazingly I managed to not get sick, loose my voice or go out and get heinously drunk like some of my disaster scenarios outlined.

excellent talk jim, you really nailed the rationale and reasoning behind your points - and the slides greatly improved from your first practice run, congrats!!

It has been pointed out to me that I had a minor aneurism when I wrote the slides (and they were proof read as well, but obviously not too thoroughly!). It is of course hard (-ish, I don't want to say impossible because someone is going to do it just because I mentioned it) to do color correction with a cube map, of course I meant a 3D texture (representing the color lattice). Oh well, I hope someone went off and implemented a cubemap solution and made it work. It would be cool...
